Άκρως επίκαιρο, με τον πλανήτη σε καραντίνα εξαιτίας της πανδημίας, είναι το νέο τραγούδι που κυκλοφόρησαν οι Rolling Stones. Ο τίτλος του είναι Living in a Ghost Town (Ζώντας σε μια Πόλη Φάντασμα).
Το βίντεο κλιπ του τραγουδιού, το οποίο είδε πριν από λίγες ώρες το φως της δημοσιότητας, συνοδεύεται από εικόνες έρημων πόλεων ανά τον κόσμο, όπως το Λονδίνο, το Λος Άντζελες, το Τορόντο, το Όσλο, το Κιότο και το Κέιπ Τάουν.
Πόλεις που κάποτε έσφυζαν από ζωή και τώρα ο νέος κορονοϊός (COVID-19) τις έκανε να μοιάζουν με πόλεις-φαντάσματα, όπως είναι και ο τίτλος του τραγουδιού.
«Βρισκόμασταν στο στούντιο για να ηχογραφήσουμε νέο υλικό πριν από το lockdown και υπάρχει ένα τραγούδι που πιστεύουμε ότι θα έχει απήχηση κατά τη διάρκεια όσων ζούμε αυτή τη στιγμή», σημειώνει ο τραγουδιστής των Rolling Stones, Μικ Τζάγκερ, σε ανακοίνωση. «Το δουλέψαμε ενώ βρισκόμασταν σε απομόνωση. Και ιδού… Ελπίζω να σας αρέσει».
